Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Network Use By Secondary Vocational Students

With the rapidly developing of the Internet and information technology,their advantages of cross-regional,real-time,individual,convenient and fast speed have brought great convenience for our life.However,every coin has its two sides.The phenomenon that the secondary vocational students are addicted to the Internet keeps happening,which not only affect the school life and mental health of the students,but also weaken their interpersonal relationships,seriously neglect their studies,lead them to crime and bring great harm to the society.Therefore,the research on the network use of secondary vocational students has great significance to their healthy growth.Secondary Vocational School Students Internet Use Scale is designed by the writer and tested to be reliable and effective.Combining The Secondary Vocational School Students Internet Use Survey of Basic Information and Adolescent Pathological Internet Use Scale which is made by LeiLi integrates into The vocational school students Internet Use Status Questionnaires.The object of survey is chosen from the two grades students with different majors from two secondary vocational schools in Dalian.Questionnaires were distributed to 300 students,and 284 copies were collected which excluding invalid 24 copies and including valid 260 copies questionnaires.So the recovery rate is 86.7%.SPSS19.0 was used for statistical analysis of the data and the conclusion was drawn as follows: First,mobile phones are the most used devices for the addicted students,followed by desktop computers.Second,the most common place for the addicted students to use the Internet is at home,followed by school.There are five problems of the network using are as follows: The detection rate of Internet addiction is 8.8%,which is worthy of attention.The level of parents' education has significant influence on the prominence of Internet addiction.The withdrawal symptoms of Internet addiction were most obvious for the students who have got the addiction for 5-6 years.The scores of secondary vocational students with Internet addiction from high to low were ranked as: mood change,withdrawal symptoms,social comfort,sudden dominance,tolerance and negative consequences.Among those,mood change gets the highest score.The preference degree of Internet use is ranked as social contact,entertainment and information search and transaction payment.According to the findings of the study,the influencing factors of secondary vocational students' network use are external and internal.External causes include family reasons,school reasons and social reasons.As for family,it is because of the parents' education level and parents' non-positive education style.As for school,it's because of ineffective ways to manage the Internet use by the students.As for social aspect,it's because of the improper management of the Internet cafe and the lack of professional Internet addiction treatment institutions.Internal causes are that vocational students lack life goals and self-development goals.In view of the influencing factors,countermeasures are proposed from the aspects of family,school and society.As parents,they should master Internet knowledge,guide and monitor their children to surf the Internet.At the same time,they should change their bad upbringing and establish a good parent-child relationship.For school and teachers,they should guide students to set life goals,add mental health education into the education activities and cooperate well with parents.As for the whole society,it should strengthen the network management and set up a formal treatment center for Internet addiction.
