Psychological research shows that 3-6 years old is an important period for children’s perceptual motor ability development. If children’s perceptual motor ability is trained and trained in time in this critical period, children will gain acceleration of motor skill development in the future growth process, and missing the critical development period may affect their future development potential.Perceived motor ability is a kind of ability that an individual can experience the sense of mastery and control of his own body, including hand-eye/foot-eye coordination ability, body domination and control ability, large muscle motor ability and Non-large muscle motor ability. In this study,48 children(aged 3-4)from two classes in a private kindergarten in Tengzhou City were selected and divided into experimental group(25)and control group(23).The control group was given daily physical education activities in kindergartens. The experimental group was given 8-week physical intervention by designing large muscle movements which were in accordance with the physical and mental development of children. The main teaching methods are running, jumping, drilling, throwing, climbing, balance and other major muscle movements,so as to explore the influence of big muscle movements on the development of children’s perceptual motor ability. Before and after the intervention of big muscle movement, after the reasonable evaluation of the items tested by the existing scale through expert interviews, the research subjects were selected to test, and the test results were analyzed by mathematical statistics method,in order to explore the development status of 3-4 year-old children’s perceptual motor ability, and to provide effective basis for promoting children’s physical and mental development in an all-round way.The findings are as follows:1.Large muscle exercise exercises have played a positive role in promoting the development of 3-4 years old children’s perceived exercise ability. The children in the experimental group and the control group showed significant improvement in the four dimensions of perceived motor ability, but compared with the overall score, the scores of the experimental group in four dimensions(35.88±3.295)were higher than those in the control group(31.52).±4.708).2.Outdoor sports activities carried out with large muscle movements as the mainpractice means have a more significant effect on the children’s ability to perceive exercise. The increase of the children in the experimental group under the intervention of the large muscle exercise was higher than that of the control group under the daily physical exercise practice. The growth rate of the experimental group was 56.81%,and the growth rate of the control group was 42.68%.Although the daily physical exercise in the kindergarten can also improve the child’s ability to perceive movement, the large muscle movement exercise can play a targeted role, and the effect is more obvious.
