Movement coordination ability is an important foundation for children to engage in various activities in their daily life.Good movement coordination ability can improve children’s perception ability and accelerate the progress of children’s movement skills so that they can master various movement skills faster and better than their peers.Children aged 5-6 develop rapidly, which is susceptible period for the sensory perception development and cognitive ability development. At this stage, the intervention of children’s movement coordination ability can effectively enhance the evolution of physical and mental health of children. As an significant method to develop movement coordination ability of children, sports not only promote the development of children’s movement coordination ability, but also have a positive impact on children’s body shape and physical quality.Table tennis,as China’s national ball, attracts a wide range of people to participate in it because of its interest and other characteristics. In the stage of learning basic skills of table tennis, the exercise intensity is small, and the action is simple and easy to master. It is suitable for children to participate in it.At the same time, the ball speed of table tennis is fast.In the process of participating in table tennis, children’s central nervous system needs to quickly analyze the information obtained by receptors, and regulate the coordination of organs and limbs to complete the action.Meanwhile, practice is helpful to improve the response ability of children’s nervous system and bring an positive force behind the development of children’s movement coordination ability. This study mainly utilizes the methods of literature, interview,Delphi, experiment and mathematical statistics.By consulting the relevant literature of children and conducting indepth interviews with 8 middle and senior table tennis coaches and college table tennis teachers, this paper designs and formulates a table tennis intervention scheme suitable for children aged5-6 years.Twelve evaluation indexes of motor coordination ability of 5-6-year-old children were selected through the questionnaires distributed to 21 experts by Delphi method, and the motor tests were carried out before and after the experiment.Taking 40 5-6-year-old children in the large class of East Street Kindergarten in Yuanshi County,Shijiazhuang as the experimental object, through a 12 weeks(36 courses)table tennis intervention experiment, this paper explores the impact of table tennis intervention on the movement coordination ability of children aged from 5 to 6.Research conclusion1.The routine sports activities in the control group can significantly improve the left and right upper limb movement coordination ability, upper and lower limb movement coordination ability and eye-foot coordination ability of children aged 5-6 years.Although the left and right lower limb movement coordination ability and hand-eye coordination ability are improved compared with those before the experiment, the differences are not significant. Therefore, sports activities still have much room to refine for children aged 5-6.2.Through the table tennis intervention for 12 weeks(36 classes),the children aged 5-6in the experimental group can significantly improve their left and right lower limb movement coordination ability, upper and lower limb movement coordination ability,hand-eye movement coordination ability and eye-foot movement coordination ability, while their left and right upper limb movement coordination ability and posture balance ability of children can also be improved to a certain extent.3.Through screening the indexes carefully by the experts, twelve test and evaluation indexes of 5-6-year-old children’s movement coordination ability are determined and tested in reliability. It is confirmed that these twelve indexes can better and conveniently evaluate the development of 5-6-year-old children’s movement coordination ability, and offer a reference basis for the structure of the test and evaluation index system of 5-6-year-old children’s movement coordination ability.4.The table tennis practice contents designed by experts go well with the development of physical and mental health of children aged 5-6.In the practice process, these contents can comprehensively develop children’s movement coordination ability. |
