The group cooperative learning is a very creative teaching method commonly used in many countries in the world.It has a strong theoretical support,and it has obvious practical effects in many teaching practice studies.It has been praised as the most successful teaching reform for years.It is undeniable that group cooperative learning has indeed been recognized by many schools,and it has been used and developed well.However,in the actual application process,one or more problems will always be arisen,failing to achieve the desired optimal results and requiring further development."Experience is the mother of wisdom." In order to find problems in the actual teaching and education and propose corresponding improvement strategies,the author selected 20 junior high school teachers from School A and selected 105 junior high school students who had participated in the group cooperative learning practice for two years(according to different performances and class atmosphere,three classes were selected for the study.)As a research object.Questionnaire surveys and interviews were conducted to analyze the current situation and causes of the cooperative learning practice among middle school students,and possible improvement strategies were discussed.The study found that the reform of the School A cooperative group learning was relatively successful.It is mainly reflected in the following:the school created an atmosphere for the implementation of cooperative learning,the teachers professional level was improved and the students' ability in all aspects was also improved.However,through the analysis of the questionnaires of teachers and students,the author also finds that School A has unsatisfactory aspects in the process of practice:the support from teachers in the group cooperative learning is not enough,there is only form but no essence,the interaction among the members in the group is not enough and the evaluation mechanism for cooperative learning needs to be further improved.The cause of the lack of cooperation in the School A junior high group cooperative learning process is not caused by a single factor.First of all,the teacher's concept is vague and unclear,and the guidance and support given at the same time is not in place.Secondly,the cultural construction of the group cooperative learning is not sufficient.Thirdly,it lacks assessment and evaluation mechanism in the group cooperative learning,etc.After a large number of reading and referring to relevant literature and combined with the investigation results,the author proposes an improved strategy from three aspects.First,teachers should give enough support to create a good environment.Teachers create a good group cooperative learning environment,pay close attention to the whole class,guide and maintain students during the learning process,support and encourage students to ensure the effective conduct of group cooperation learning.Second,the group should work cooperatively develop group culture.The group members establish positive interdependence among themselves,increase opportunities for face-to-face interaction and learn to cooperate.At last,improve the evaluation mechanism to exert its best effect.Teachers understand and determine the content of the evaluation,adhere to the principle of evaluation,comprehensively use the evaluation method,carry out objective incentive evaluation;use multiple evaluations and lead at the right time.
