The social competence with peers is the cornerstone for children in their early childhood.While using the strategy is the important aspect for children to competent with peers.In recent years,with the development of our society,they are many hot topics in childhood social development and research,such as impact factors of the social competence with peers,development stages,intervention methods and so on.In kindergarten,children of the middle class are at the age of four to five.At this age,they are interested in human being's social life.And their expression ability of linguistic and none-linguistic has a better development.So they can clearly express their interaction willing and together-playing willing to their peers.At the same time,some simple active strategies were taken by children in interacting with their peers.At the age of four to five,children's perception ability has been perfected in certain degree.They start to voluntarily control their linguistic and none-linguistic expression,and control their behavior,which make some possibilities for them to interact and communicate with their peers.Picture-book reading activity is one of the important activities for linguistic education in the kindergarten.With the features of demonstrate vividly,express simply,content-describing fluently and content-presenting humorously,picture-book can efficiently improve children's reading ability,expression ability and social development ability.The observation methods and experimental methods are used in this research on the topic of the using strategy of social competence with peers.Two middle classes were chosen.In every chosen-class,we randomly select ten boys and ten girls respectively as study objects.According to the Observation Chart of Social Competence with Peers,the pretests were made for the study objects and the experiment class and comparing class were set.After three-month study for picture-book reading in social competence with peers in experimental class,we can make a conclusion.There are five parts in the research content.The first part is the introduction;the second part is the theory of the research;the third part is experiment design;the fourth part is the results and analysis of the experiment;and the fifth part is how to choose picture-books and how to take measures according to the teaching advice of picture-book.It is obviously that there are more active strategies of social competence with peers which are used in pre-test than after-test,and less positive strategies are used in pre-test than after-test,and the neutral studies are at the same amount.The picture-book themed as” social competence with peers” can advance the strategy usage of children in social competence with peers.
