A Study Of The Interaction Between Social Workers And Clients ——Take Child Care Group Activities As An Example

As a professional activity to help others,social work plays an important role in solving social problems,maintaining social order and stabilizing functions.However,the current social work still has problems such as low social recognition and insufficient professional services.As a vulnerable group in society,children need the attention of the government,academia,social organizations and other sectors of society.Under the background of reality and policy,discussing the interaction between social workers and children in caring group activities has positive significance for the development of social workers,clients and social work.Based on the author’s internship experience,this paper adopts the method of participatory observation,action research and interview method,based on the interpretation of social interaction theory,first analyzes and evaluates the needs of children,starts from the perspective of social work,adopts the group work method to carry out caring group activities,and provides an interactive field for social workers and clients while achieving the goals of the group;secondly,the interaction process between social workers and clients is specifically elaborated: the interaction between the two parties is mediated by meaningful symbols.Constructing a multi-context for the field,the coexistence of multiple relationships,cooperation and conflict as the main interactive mode,mutual benefit and mutual assistance of the interactive process;Then,it summarizes the specific growth of both parties in the process of interaction,and concludes that social workers promote individual and professional growth in terms of knowledge,ability,values and so on,and the client knows himself through the group,accepts himself,and enhances self-confidence.Learn interpersonal skills and gain friendships;Helping each other,getting love and companionship,etc.Again,this paper probes into the existing director lack of interaction in the process of subjectivity,the meaning of the symbol is a lack of common cognition,role positioning is not clear,the lack of interaction with the environment,etc,put forward by adopting to motivate the interaction between subject,selecting appropriate interactive symbol,rational interactive subject role,appropriate to join the interaction with the environment and other measures to crack interaction.Finally,the article concludes that the interaction between social workers and clients deepens the understanding of the interaction between helpers and recipients,and also enriches the practice of social interaction in the field of social work.The quality of interaction affects the effectiveness of services.Therefore,the research on the interaction between helper and beneficiary should be deepened at both the theoretical and practical levels.
