| China’s primary education reform places an emphasis on the development and utilization of curriculum resources.As a material curriculum resource,picture books can be used directly in class teaching,and provide students with rich material in class implementation.Picture books reading and writing course is just in the use of the excellent curriculum resources,guiding the students to create and express adequately on the basis of the picture book,and develop the basic ability of listening,speaking,reading and writing.This study adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice,which takes the example of the school that I teach in,introduces the development of picture book reading and writing course in junior grade of primary school,analyzes its teaching strategies and methods,thus provides theoretical guidance for the people who engage in the teaching profession.The thesis is divided into three chapters.The forepart explains the purpose and significance of the research,review the trends at home and abroad,and introduces the research method and innovation of the article.The first part of the first chapter describes the definition of the picture book,traces the origin and development of picture books,and analyzes the structure of picture book;introduces the concept and characteristics of the picture book reading and writing course;points out the difference between the picture book reading and writing course and the general course,analyzes its advantages and uniqueness,to provide theoretical support and foothold for the teaching strategies of the courses proposed later;The second part analyzes the present situation of picture book teaching,and points out the problems and shortcomings of picture book teaching from the aspect of the picture book selection,the setting of teaching objectives,the use of teaching methods,etc.The second chapter is divided into five parts,which is the focus of this article.On account of the present situation of picture book teaching,it gives detailed analysis from the aspect of the pictorial selection strategy,reading strategy for picture books,the selection strategy of the writing-drawing point,story creation strategy,and the strategy of the curriculum evaluation,which elaborates the strategies with examples.The third chapter combines the picture books created by the students,according to the progress and changes that have been made since the children of the experimental class participated in the picture reading and writing course,to show the implementing effect of the picture books reading and writing course. |
