Human beings know the world from a sense in the beginning.It gives us information about the environment inside and outside,keeping the organism in balance with the outside world.The great enlightenment thinker Rousseau,in Emile,emphasized the importance of sensory experience.Rousseau makes the first detailed exposition of the person's various senses-touch,vision,hearing,smell,taste,and its significance in the sixth sense,function,training methods and the relationship between each other for the first time in this paper.Rousseau demonstrates that the significance and method of education is unprecedented in the history of education.This not only criticizes the traditional education,but also corrects the deep-rooted thought of "innate idea" emphasized in traditional philosophy.In this paper,the research on Rousseau's sensory education is made up,which makes up for the deficiency of the existing research in Rousseau's sense of education,on the other hand,it also provides inspiration for some problems that appear in the present.This study is divided into five parts.The introduction part introduces the reason,significance,content,method and innovation of the research,and summarizes the existing research on Rousseau's sensory education by scholars at home and abroad.The first chapter systematically introduces the background and theoretical basis of Rousseau's sensory education.Rousseau's sense of education is inseparable from the historical background of Rousseau's life.The enlightenment period of Rousseau's life brought a whole new way of understanding the world--relying on sensory experience.Rousseau.Sensory education based on the nature and experience,on the basis of natural philosophy for sensory pointed out the direction of the development of education,feeling empiricism,laid the foundation of epistemology for the sense of education development.The second chapter makes a detailed analysis of Rousseau's sense education.Rousseau believed that children between the ages of two and twelve were still in a state of sleep and unfit for rational cultivation.So,Rousseau uses sensory educationas the main part of childhood.Rousseau discusses the characteristics,training methods and relations between the senses of sight,hearing,touch,smell and taste.Rousseau argues that sensory training of children's purpose: in order to cultivate the children acute senses,not only the quality of the brave,more important is the ability to enable children to use the power of nature and balance of desire,meet the needs of self-preservation.The third chapter gives a comprehensive evaluation of Rousseau's senses education.Rousseau's sensory education not only criticizes the traditional education thought,but also influences the emergence of education psychology,which in some degree opens up the education psychology in the sense of modernity.And Rousseau's senses education provides references and inspirations for some problems in our present situation.Today's families and schools should pay attention to the development of children's senses,following the nature of children and enrich their life experience.Creating a relaxed environment for children's growth and provide free space for children to use their own senses to gain experience of things and grow up freely.On the other hand,Rousseau devalues the importance of instrumental value,emphasizes sensory training too much in childhood and ignores systematic knowledge.In addition,Rousseau's emphasis on the physical senses is compared with the ancient Greek period,and Plato advocated that the ultimate purpose of physical exercise is to pursue the whole of the soul.Rousseau is to emphasize the individual self preservation consciousness,missing the soul significance level pursuit.
