Educational robot is a typical representative of Artificial Intelligence(AI)application in education.With the rise and the full development of STEM education,science education and robot education have become the focus of educators at home and abroad.In recent years,in the field of science education,educators are actively taking the initiative to adapt to the new requirements put forward in the era of intelligence and applying a range of emerging education technologies to science education to improve the effectiveness of education and teaching,to promote the reform of education and teaching models.Among these emerging technologies,intelligent robot,which is highly comprehensive and innovative in practice,contains very rich educational ideas,a key area for the development of emerging education technology,is most widely used and common in class.Intelligent robot based science education,connecting the science learning with real life,can offer good opportunity for students to explore and practice.During the exploration and practice,the younger generation can quickly adapt themselves to modern society and there will be more technical and research talents.Through unremitting efforts and exploration,the primary school science education reform has achieved great results and has been playing a very important role in cultivating students' scientific literacy and core competency.However,science education is still at an initial stage of exploration.Current science education fail to reach requirements,there are some deficiencies,such as the lack of systematic theory and practical exploration to support intelligent robot,the dispersion of learning content and textbook,the lacking of feasible teaching model.At the same time,there are also some problems in the primary school science education system,for example,as the lack of innovative ability and practical ability training.In response to the series of issues mentioned above,this paper based on STEM integrates"science education","innovation education",and "robot education" and carry out a series of scientific curriculum teaching exploration designed on intelligent robot platform.The main research work of the thesis has the following points:First,based on the conception of STEM education,the creative science curriculum is designed and developed.This paper selects part of the fourth-grade science curriculum,exploration of sound and light,in primary school and integrates the exploration and practice activities based on the intelligent robot platform.The development processes are as follows:the feasibility analysis,demand analysis,goal setting,curriculum development,team deliberation,curriculum implementation,valuation and revision.There are four modules,including "Introduction","Fantastic Light" and "Various Voices"and "Comprehensive Application".Second,a scientific course teaching model is constructed.Through the analysis of the "Primary Science Curriculum Standards",the features and concepts of primary school science education,and the feasibility of using intelligent robots in primary school science education,combining with the actual needs of primary science education,a scientific teaching model based on intelligent robot platform is constructed.The model integrates"knowledge-learning stage","exploration practice stage","evaluation feedback stage"and "summary reflection stage".Based on this teaching model,an evaluation system is designed to promote the development of students,in which formative assessment and summative assessment are run through the four stages of teaching.Third,an empirical study based on the intelligent robot platform is conducted.The participants are 50 third-grade students from a primary school in Tianshui.Guided micro-courses,teaching activities,questionnaires of learning attitude and learner satisfaction and interview outlines are prepared before class.The curriculum is divided into 15 classes and 40 lesson period.After the teaching demonstration,empirical results and relevant data are analyzed.The results show that the application of intelligent robots can stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm of learning in science class;it can improve students'creative thinking and learning satisfaction.The perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of students on intelligent robot platforms can affect students' learning satisfaction and thus affect teaching effectiveness.
