Composition teaching,as an important component of Chinese teaching,is an important measure of the language level of students and has received widespread attention from the language education community.In recent years,the composition teaching in primary school has experienced unprecedented reforms,particularly in teaching methods.However,the effect of the teaching is still not satisfactory.Elementary school teachers feel that writing is difficult to teach,and pupils feel that writing is difficult to write.All the problems puzzled them.The reason is that composition writing is a manifestation of students’ overall ability.Training students’ writing ability only from one aspect or several aspects can still not solve the fundamental problem.It is necessary to use composition teaching as a system to train students and stimulate pupils’ interst at the same time.Based on the above situations and understanding,this paper starts from the practical problems in the teaching of primary schools and it combines with the results of the existing composition teaching research.We put forward the composition teaching model of“Thinking,Speaking,Reading,Writing and Commenting” and conducts practical application research in primary schools.This article is mainly composed of the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,mainly expounding the reasons for the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the existing domestic and foreign research reviews,the definition of the core concepts and the application of the main research methods.The second part is the investigation of teaching composition in primary schools.Through a questionnaire survey of elementary school Chinese teachers and some elementary school students,the author analyzed and summarized the teachers and students from two aspects of the subjects according to the survey results,and concluded that there are major problems in the composition teaching in primary schools.The third part is based on the results of the second part of the survey and puts forward the composition teaching mode of “Thinking,Speaking,Reading,Writing and Commenting”.It elaborates on the connotation,implementation,and necessity of the composition teaching mode of “Thinking,Speaking,Reading,Writing and Commenting”,the theoretical basis and the implementation principle provide the theoretical basis for the fourth part of the practice.The fourth part introduces the practical part of the thesis,that is,the use of the teaching mode of “Thinking,Speaking,Reading,Writing and Commenting” in primary school composition teaching.It mainly describes the practice process,examples of practical cases,and interviews’ results of teachers and students.The fifth part summarizes the composition teaching mode of “Thinking,Speaking,Reading,Writing and Commenting”.It points out the merits and inadequacies of this composition teaching mode,and proposes some improvement measures we should take.
