Research On The Activity Of "Reading,Speaking,Listening And Writing" In Unit Teaching Of Space Vector | | Posted on:2023-08-30 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L Wang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2557306848470374 | Subject:Education·Subject Teaching (Mathematics) | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | With the further advancement of curriculum reform,the concept of unit teaching has attracted the attention of the teaching community again.Unit teaching shows the formation process of mathematical knowledge through mathematical activities and promotes the development of students’ thinking.Besides,the way of listening,speaking,reading and writing in mathematical exchanges has been developed and upgraded in mathematics teaching,attracting increasing attention year by year.In Mathematics Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,Revised in 2020),it is proposed that evaluation methods of core literacy of mathematics can be combined with oral tests,open-ended activities and other procedural evaluations,which provides a design direction for the conscious integration of unit teaching into activities.In this context,not only the explicit expression of students’ knowledge and skills,but also the development trend of student’ internal thinking can be noticed,therefore building a bridge between teaching activities and evaluation methods.Based on the above introduction,unit teaching activities,with “reading” being the foundation,“speaking” being the means of expression,“listening” for comprehension,and “writing” for reflection,are designed based on the manifestation forms of learning activity in unit teaching in combination with the investigation information of learning situation.In this study,by combining theoretical speculation with practical test and using relevant research results and experience at home and abroad for reference,the activity of “reading,speaking,listening and writing” is expounded based on Social Constructivism Theory,Learning Result Classification Theory,SOLO Evaluation Theory and Self-Efficacy Theory,which lays a guiding foundation for teaching practice.Then four space vector unit teaching activities,which focus on students’ understanding of the algebraic and geometric attributes of space vector,were conducted to analyze students’ performance in reading,listening,speaking and writing.It is summarized that space vector unit teaching realizes sound transformation of geometric intuition,reasonable reasoning and programmed operation,and develops students’ subject literacy such as intuitive imagination,logical reasoning and mathematical operation.Lastly,SPSS 20.0 and EXCEL software were used to process and analyze the evaluation data acquired from above teaching practices.It is concluded that the activity of “reading,speaking,listening and writing” in unit teaching is conducive to improving students’ understanding of mathematical knowledge to a certain extent and developing students’ positive attitude towards mathematics learning.In addition,the strategies for the activity of “reading,speaking,listening and writing” in unit teaching are also optimized to make it more practical.The innovation of this paper lies in two aspects.Theoretically speaking,mathematics teaching activities are carried out in the order of reading,speaking,listening and writing to achieve the observability of learning results and the diversity of learning evaluation;practically speaking,the activity of “reading,speaking,listening and writing” based on learning situation provides an operable activity example for teachers to practice unit teaching and develop students’ subject literacy in the new curriculum reform. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Reading,Speaking,Listening and Writing, High School Mathematics, Teaching Activities, Unit Teaching, Space Vectors | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
