Special education is an important part of the national education system.The impact brought by modern technology has been spread to various fields especially with the development of technology.In the field of education,teaching and rehabilitation of special children,modern technology has also been widely used.Among them,virtual reality technology has been applied in rehabilitation of children with various types of obstacles abroad and has achieved positive results.It provides new application methods and optimized training environment and methods for the development of special education.The application of virtual reality technology in our country is still at the initial stage of special education,or is focused on the theoretical analysis of foreign studies.There are few experimental studies on the use of virtual virtual reality technology to assist mentally retarded children.Therefore,It is of great significance to study the use of virtual reality technology to assist children with mental retardation learning.The starting point of this study is to consider whether the use of virtual reality technology to assist children with mental retardation can improve the learning effectiveness of children with intellectual disabilities.Use the advantages and characteristics of virtual reality technology to train children in the education of children in the wisdom of the urgent need to master and the general teaching process is difficult to achieve or children need to practice many times in order to be familiar with the content.Before this study,we also need to consider the degree of acceptance of virtual reality devices and the negative effects of virtual reality devices for children with intellectual disabilities,and then select,develop,and implement virtual reality content.The study is in three parts.The first part is before intervention training.This section uses observation methods and interviews to study the acceptance of virtual reality devices,the degree of willingness to wear,and the immersion,presence,and negative effects of wearing virtual reality devices.This part lays the foundation for the implementation of this research and for the development of children with intellectual disabilities based on virtual reality technology in the future;the second part is the selection,design and development of the topic of the research content.In this part,classroom teaching observations,interviews with teachers,parents,and selection of teaching subjects that meet mental retardation children based on the curriculum standards of the Psychic School curriculum were conducted.The selected topics were identified as "traffic safety" content,and the selected content was scripted to perform scenarios.The model construction will be developed and implemented.The third part is the virtual reality traffic safety scenario applied to practice.This part uses the experimental design of the control group,and conducts a case analysis of the behavioral observation records of the experimental group during the student intervention.This article draws conclusions from observations and analysis:First,virtual reality technology can be widely accepted by PeiZhi School students,and bring them a better experience of immersive experience,as well as less negative effects;Secondly,the virtual scene of traffic safety is higher With the presence of students,students can "cross the street" after wearing the equipment.Finally,the practical application of the virtual traffic safety scene shows that the use of virtual reality technology can improve the safety of students crossing the street compared to traditional teaching methods.Skills can also increase students' interest in learning.
