Children's traffic accidents always threaten children's life safety.In view of this social phenomenon,our government attaches more and more importance to children's traffic safety education.With the development of science and technology,the introduction of virtual reality technology into the field of children's traffic safety education has become a research hotspot.In this paper,by analyzing the existing advantages and disadvantages of children's traffic safety education system based on VR,and connecting with the children's education psychology research,education and chaos theory,which is used for creating children's traffic safety education of virtual scene,and by setting the interactive tasks to achieve the goal of education children's traffic safety knowledge,and solve the user requirements in the process of learning knowledge.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Interdisciplinary demand analysis.Draw lessons from the child psychology research achievement,from which obtains the child learns the knowledge process characteristic.From chaos education theory,we get the inspiration and guidance of system structure design,initial state design and feedback mode design.From the perspective of industrial design,centering on the design principle of "user-oriented",this paper studies and puts forward the framework and functional design scheme of children's traffic safety education system based on VR.(2)Virtual scene construction.In this paper,a 3D virtual model with low memory consumption and high visual accuracy is implemented by mesh subdivision algorithm,and the generation of traffic flow is simulated by cellular automata,and dynamic lighting effect and static lighting are realized by programming the level blueprint in UE4.(3)Interactive development.This part mainly develops human-computer interaction based on functional design,including two ways of character movement:the roaming mode based on Lighthouse technology and the improved transient technology.At the same time,it also includes dimensionality reduction collision technology,virtual fetching,virtual button interaction and scene reconstruction technology for collision detection in the virtual scene in this paper.(4)The virtual traffic scene in this paper realizes two modules related to education and irrelevant.Education related content module includes:cars,roads,lights,manual,zebra crossing,interaction between these elements make up the surface characteristics of risk perception and content risk perception two big task scenario content characteristics,children lean by means of complete the task of traffic safety knowledge,in children's mission failed,the scene reconstruction system in order to let children repeated training.Non-educational content modules include buildings,vegetation,sidewalks,lighting environments,and other models that interact to create realistic virtual traffic scenes.Finally,the fluency and integrity of the system are tested by cognitive rehearsal.
