With the rise of curriculum reform in preschool art education,children’s drama is gradually concerned by preschool education circles as a diversified and open comprehensive artistic style.More and more educators in the field of education realize the important value of drama education for children.As a kind of children’s literary genre,picture book is an important medium for children to acquire knowledge and enrich their emotions.It is also an important carrier for kindergarten organizing and playing drama activities.Under the guidance of teachers,children participate in drama activities independently and freely,feel the charm of drama art,and enjoy the joy of drama activities.Drama activities have a unique advantage in enriching children’s perception of the world and life,and gradually improving children’s personality.This research is mainly composed of the introduction,three chapters and epilogue.The introduction part discusses the origin of the topic,the literature review,the significance of the research,the research method and the innovation of this research.In the process of research,researcher mainly uses literature,observation,interview,case analysis and other research methods.There are two main points in the innovation of the research.The first is to excavate and utilize the dramatic elements in the picture book,it can enrich the content of drama activities and develop the theory of drama education in kindergarten.The second is to provide a scientific method and strategy guidance for preschool teachers to choose and effectively use picture books to carry out various forms of drama activities in kindergarten.The text is divided into three chapters:Chapter one,the researcher discusses the overview of drama activities in kindergarten based on picture books.First of all,it defines the concept of picture books,children’s drama,drama activities in kindergarten.Second,the researcher elaborates the basic form of drama activities based on picture books in kindergarten.Once again,the characteristics of drama activities in kindergarten based on picture books are discussed in four aspects.One of the characteristics is that drama activities absorb the fun and creativity of the picture book.The second feature is that drama activities mobilize the initiative and improvisation of young children’s participation.The third feature is the playfulness and procedural nature of drama activities focusing on children’s participation.The fourth feature is that drama activities advocate the comprehensiveness and suitability of art forms.Finally,it discusses the value of drama activities based on picture books for children’s development from five aspects.The first value is conducive to children’s imagination,inspiring creative thinking.The second value is to help children experience the role and enrich the stage experience.The third value is conducive to enriching children’s emotions and feeling the charm of drama.The fourth value is conducive to children’s participation in activities and learning to solve problems.The fifth value is conducive to children’s self-understanding and self-construction.Chapter two,the researcher discusses the present situation of drama activities in kindergarten based on picture books.On the one hand,the researcher analyzes drama activities in kindergarten from four aspects: the first is the application of the theory of children’s drama education.The second is the situation for the teacher to choose the picture book before the drama.The third is the situation in which the teacher conducts children’s drama activities based on picture books.The fourth is the guidance of teachers in the drama activities.On the other hand,the researcher conducts in-depth research on the practice and research of drama activities in kindergarten.On the basis of the present situation,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the drama activities carried out by the kindergarten,and makes attribution analysis: first,teachers lack the theory of drama education,and teachers’ cognition is sufficient.Second,the standard of choosing picture books is improper,and the guiding methods are not scientific.Third,the form of activity is single and unsystematic,and the experience of process is ignored.Fourth,script writing lacks creativity,and design elements are lacking in professionalism.Fifth,teachers pay much attention to the results of theatrical performances,ignoring the audience’s experience.Chapter three,the researcher discusses the strategy of drama activities inkindergarten based on picture books.It mainly includes the following five strategies:First,teachers should take the development of children as the base and improve the ability of drama education.Drama activities should respect the psychological characteristics of children,develop children’s multiple intelligence,encourage young children to make active construction,and lead young children to learn from doing.Second,teachers should select picture books to provide rich materials for drama activities.Teachers should choose a picture book that is full of childlike interest and close to the child’s life,which is in line with the characteristics of the child’s development,choose a picture book that is clash with the plot of the story.Third,teachers should construct diverse drama activities according to the characteristics of different picture books.First of all,teachers need to decrypt the picture book,perform structural analysis,conduct story analysis according to theatrical elements,and design activities according to the five major areas of the kindergarten.Secondly,teachers should organize children’s diversified theatrical activities,encourage children to improvise their activities,create interesting drama activities together,and organize children’s collective drama teaching activities.Fourth,teachers should use drama elements to organize children’s script creation.Teachers should pay attention to the comprehensive application of drama elements such as theme,plot,dialogue,role and environment in the script,and lead children to build the script together.Fifth,teachers should organize drama activities regularly to realize the stereoscopic picture book.The theater activities mainly include three groups of people:infant actor,infant audience and teachers.Teachers should pay attention to the organization and management before and after the children’s dramatic performance,and pay attention to the ornamental experience of the children during the performance.
