Tennis,as an important selective courses in college,not only can promote students' physical and mental health,but also help to cultivate students' psychological quality,such as confidence and boldness.Students are in the dominant position in task driven teaching process.However,teachers act as organizers,participants and mentors of teaching in the task driven teaching process.Through various tasks,students actively participate in social practice,thus,their knowledge and courage are promoted.Also,in the task driven teaching process,students develop an ability of autonomous learning.In this study,in order to examine the effect of the task driven teaching method on students who selected tennis course,we investigated 58 students who attend tennis as selective courses from Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine.After ensuring the 58 students are under the same conditions,we conducted a 14-week experiment using the method of literature,questionnaire survey,interview,experiment,logical analysis and mathematical statistics in the experiment.The conclusion are displayed below:(1)The task-driven teaching method can help students master the technical skills of tennis in the elective teaching of tennis.However,the task-driven teaching method and the traditional teaching method have an effect on the student's sense of ball and physical fitness in the improvement of tennis ball and physical fitness.There was no significant difference in improvement.(2)Task driven teaching method fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the students to actively participate in tennis,and enhanced students' learning motivation and learning interest in tennis.Through this method,students' physical education learning attitude were changed,and the formation of students' lifelong sports consciousness were further promoted.(3)Cooperative organization was used in the process of task driven teaching method.Through group discussion and evaluation,students' consciousness of cooperation and competition were better improved,and students' self-confidence to learn tennis were enhanced.Also tennis teaching effect has been improved.(4)Task driven teaching method gave fully play to the leading role of teachers and embodied the dominant position of students.This method could help to make the relationship between teachers and students more harmonious,and create a relaxed,free,active and pleasant learning environment for students.
