Textbooks are an important resource for teaching and play an extremely important role in class teaching.The quality of writing determines the quality of teaching to a certain extent.Nowadays,in the context of curriculum and textbook reforms,the versions of textbooks are varied,and the comparative study of textbooks have attracted people’s attention.By analyzing the pros and cons of different editions of textbooks,we can optimize the compilation of textbooks and to improve the quality of textbooks.The content of "cuboids and cubes" is one of the contents of the "Graphics and Geometry" field in the primary school.It occupies an important position in primary school mathematics textbooks.It plays an important role in the development of students’ spatial thinking and the future foundation for further study in the field of solid geometry.The PEP and Jiangsu Education Edition textbooks are compiled based on the curriculum standards promulgated by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China,and their scope and influence are relatively large.Shanghai Education Edition were prepared according to the standards of the Shanghai curriculum.For the preparation of the situation in Shanghai,there must be certain characteristics.Therefore,this study selects the "cube and cube" part of the above three versions of the textbook as the comparison object.Based on the comparative analysis of the relevant content requirements in the two curriculum standards,the text analysis method and the comparison method are the main methods,with a comprehensive comparison of the unit structure,content setting,examples,and exercises is conducted to summarize the differences and similarities between the three versions of textbooks in the "cuboids and cubes".Through comparison,it is found that the three versions of textbooks have different emphasis on the different topics of "cubes and cubes".For example,Shanghai Education Edition focus on the arrangement of volume-related knowledge;the three versions of textbooks highlight the main body of students in the arrangement.The status embodies the "student-oriented" education concept;the textbooks "cube and cube" of Shanghai Education Edition do not have a design unit to organize review modules,and lack attention to unit review;the examples of the three versions of textbooks are contextual and focus on the link of real life;the exercises for the teaching materials of the PEP and Jiangsu Education Edition textbooks focus on the connection with external knowledge points.The content of the exercises is not limited to the knowledge points of this unit.Through the comparative analysis of the contents of "cuboids and cubes" in elementary school mathematics textbooks,we can draw the following inspirations:In the preparation of problem sets,we should enrich the level of the exercises and reflect different levels of learning;pay attention to the role of unit review modules,and improve Exercises system;pay attention to the typical of the examples,attach importance to the cultivation of students’ problem-solving awareness;pay attention to the use of heuristic language in the teaching materials,embody the student’s dominant position;pay attention to the penetration of local culture in the teaching materials,and enrich the regional characteristics of the textbooks.
