Research On The Management Countermeasures Of Motor Vehicle Parking In Wenzhou City

Since the 21 st century,China’s urbanization process has been deepening,and the number of motor vehicles and road traffic in large and medium-sized cities has increased rapidly,which makes the current urban parking planning and design level backward,the lack of parking equipment configuration and construction,the lack of government parking supervision and management level and other issues gradually prominent,most cities in the country have parking difficulties,parking chaos phenomenon.In this context,how to alleviate the contradiction between the growing demand for parking and the shortage of parking facilities at this stage has become an important issue to be solved in large and medium-sized cities.The author refers to the current domestic and foreign research results on parking problems,and learns the parking management practices of London,Tokyo,Singapore,Shanghai,Hangzhou and Hong Kong.Based on the investigation of the current situation of parking and management in Wenzhou City,this paper focuses on the development process,actual parking demand,supply of parking facilities and parking management.The main reasons are as follows: in recent years,the number of motor vehicles in Wenzhou City has increased rapidly,the planning of early urban parking facilities is unreasonable,the supply of existing parking resources is insufficient,the distribution of parking spaces is unreasonable,the legal system of relevant parking is not perfect,the utilization of existing parking resources is not sufficient,and the level of parking management is relatively backward The legal concept of drivers is weak.The existence of these reasons causes the parking problems in Wenzhou City.In view of the above problems,the author sums up the following countermeasures: first,continue to increase the number of parking spaces under the existing conditions,improve the number of construction parking configurations and enrich the types of parking spaces by strengthening the scientific planning of medium and long-term urban public parking lots and the development of new parking facilities;second,actively promote the sustainable development of parking industrialization,and formulate corresponding measures The third is to strengthen the parking management,strengthen the law enforcement,and improve the intelligent level of parking management.The fourth is to strengthen the concept of urban public transport development,strengthen the policy measures of public transport priority,especially to improve the service level of public transport,such as public transport,community bus,etc.,and highlight the advantages of public transport such as fast and convenient;Fifth,the government should strengthen the publicity and education of the legal system,actively guide the general public to regulate parking,and promote the public to take green transportation mode.Through the development and implementation of these measures,the contradiction of urban parking in Wenzhou can be alleviated,and the management level of urban parking can be improved,especially the parking status in the city center will reach a dynamic balance.Parking management,as a city problem,must start from all aspects of the whole parking system,with multiple channels.The author also hopes to provide new countermeasures and new ideas for the management and sustainable development of urban public parking facilities in other urban areas.
