Research On The Image Construction Of The Communist Party Of China In The New Era

Since the Reform and Opening up,the Communist Party of China and the country have made great progress in various undertakings.Yet problems appear in some areas of the Party's construction,such as the weakening of organization function,defection of organization system,limit of effect,as well as reduction of member quality,which have influenced the Party's effectiveness and cohesion,and eventually damaged Party authority and image.In recent years,with President Xi Jinping as its core,the CPC Central Committee has actively confronted the risks and challenges within the Party and strengthened Party self-governance in every respect.This effectively enhanced Party construction and political ability,and created a good opportunity for better Party image in new era.With CIS(Corporate Image System)as the analysis framework,this paper discussed the necessity of Party image building and specifically the opportunities and challenges intertwined in the new era.This paper also focused on the path to realize it.Originating from European and American enterprises,CIS is a mature image-building system in order to maintain consumer trust.Composed of three layers,ideology,behavior and identification,CIS can be used as not only a framework to analyze image phenomenon,but also a path to build image.Thus,CIS can explain and advise CPC image building.“To get people's support is a political task of prime importance.” Party image concerns people's support.The achievements since the 18 th CPC National Congress have laid a solid foundation for Party image building in the new era.At the ideological level,it includes strictly running the Party in an all-round way,advancing the law-based governance of China,modernizing the governing ability and so on.At the level of actions,it includes readjusting economic structure,paying attention to social equality,rectifying the ranks of officials and so on.At the logo level,the Party leader group's openness,self-confidence and the advanced group's self-restraint constitute the image building of the Party in the new era.There are also some problems,admittedly,such as the lack of awareness of image construction within the Party,the confusion of image construction objectives,inadequate modernization of governing capacity and imperfect image construction mechanism.Also,under the magnifying effect of the Internet,the corruption of a small number of Party members has undermined Party image.Therefore,strengthening Party image construction is still urgent in the new era.Ideologically,consciousness of image construction,modernized governance capacity and connotation of image in the new era should be stressed.In practice,performance of administration work and systematic image construction working mechanism serve a key role.As to identification,image of leaders and use of Party logo can assist.With concerted efforts in the above three aspects,Party image in the new era tends to improve.
