Research On The Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of The Elderly's Health Tourism Consumption Behavior Intention

With the acceleration of the aging society,the aging of population has become a common concern in most countries around the world.The number of elderly people in China grows particularly rapid,which brings severe tests to all sectors of China society;attaching importance to life quality improvement of the elderly is related to social stability and development.As the changeable elderly consumption concept with time and the gradual improvement of social security,'Health and wellness Tourism'is marketed to those who focus on health,and has become part of the big health industry.The report of the 19th National Congress takes 'implementing the healthy China strategy'as an important part of the country's basic development strategy,and provides a superior policy environment for the health industry.By reviewing related domestic and foreign literatures,this paper defines the concept of Health and wellness Tourism' and clarifies its connotation.By taking aged over 60 years old in Nanjing as empirical research objects,questionnaires on the influencing factors of Health and wellness Tourism intentions and behaviors were conducted.Using the collected data to analyze the demographic characteristics and consumption behavioral characteristics of the elderly in Nanjing for statistical analysis,and the demographic and behavioral characteristics of the elderly's recreational tourism:the elderly in Nanjing who participates in the recreational tourism activities show features as young age.High education level as well as most of them traveling with family members;For the purpose of tourism,they pay attention to spiritual needs,and prefer to culture experience and ecological travel.Their overall recognition of Health and wellness tourism is high and there is a willingness to recommend.Using SPSS software for correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:empirical analysis of the relationship between the willingness and behavior of Health and wellness tourism through the push-pull factor,to study the influence mechanism of the willingness and behavior of Health and wellness tourism.The analysis results show that the push-pull factor has a significant positive correlation with the willingness to travel.'Seeking knowledge and seeking newness'-among the thrust factors and the'Destination tourism-related service and environment' in the pull factor have the most significant influence on the willingness of Health and wellness tourism.Willingness is the direct cause of recreational tourism.On view of the results of empirical research,suggestions are made from the tourism management department,the Health and wellness tourism industry and the tourists themselves,moreover,expected to provide a certain role in promoting the development of the tourism industry in Nanjing.
