The “post-Crimea consensus” is the most essential feature of the Russian social sentiment since the Ukraine crisis,it reflects the essence of Russian social mentality in the new electoral cycle.The “post-Crimea consensus” enables Putin to achieve political stability during his third presidency,and it can be regarded as the social foundation of Russian political stability.The definition of the “post-Crimea consensus” can be understood from the following three aspects: first,It is essentially a generalization of Russian social sentiment,which reflects the general characteristics of the current Russian social mood.Second,it is the political foundation for Putin to win in the new electoral cycle.Third,it reflects Russia’s national character and national characteristics profoundly.The “post-Crimea consensus” has an important influence on the political atmosphere in Russia.After the outbreak of the Ukraine crisis,the recovery of Crimea has become a new factor in promoting the political stability of Russia.The “post-Crimea consensus” formed in this context is a manifestation of social emotion in a narrow sense,and the generalization is related to the national characteristics of Russia.Its essence is the high support of Russian Society for Putin’s ideas and measures of governing the country.The “post-Crimea consensus” in Russian political practice is of great significance to Russian political research.It is the key point in understanding the political characteristics of Russia since the third presidency of Putin since 2012,especially since the Ukraine crisis.It embodies the social and international relations factors of Russia’s political stability,and reflects the relationship between the internal and external factors of Russia as an export-oriented and expansionary country.The “post-Crimea consensus” as a key to understand Russian political issues has important research significance.
