On The Imagination Of Shanghai After "The Song Of Everlasting Regret"

Since the rise of urban literature research in the 1980 s,Shanghai,as a sample of modern Chinese cities,has been at the center of focus.In a certain sense,discussing the Shanghai issue in the context of China's modernization and urbanization process is thinking about issues such as tradition and modernity,China and the West.Compared with Beijing,Hong Kong,Guangzhou,Shenzhen,and other Chinese cities,Shanghai's literary writing has always maintained a strong creative force,and continually nurtured a new quality of literary city imagination.This article uses "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" as the historical node to analyze the historical changes such as the imaginative urbanity of the Chinese novel Shanghai in the subsequent period,and explore the shortcomings and growth points of the Chinese imagination of Shanghai in this stage.The introduction section outlines the research background of the thesis.Delineate the layout of contemporary Chinese urban literature in the mid-1990 s,review the research status of The Song of Everlasting Hate and the Chinese imagination of Shanghai novels,and put forward the research value and significance of the thesis.The first chapter,by comparing "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" and the Shanghai imagination in its previous literature,analyzes the originality of "Song of Everlasting Sorrow",and thus discovers the advancement of "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" on the imagination mode,that is,fully unfolding the "human-city isomorphism" and "Daily History" Novel Narrative Mode.The second chapter discusses the Shanghai imagination's inheritance and development of "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" in the literature after "Song of Everlasting Hate".Through careful reading of the text,analyze the relationship between the Chinese novel Shanghai Imagination and The Song of Everlasting Sorrow after The Song of Everlasting Hate from three aspects: the daily life of the citizen,the old Shanghai and the new Shanghai.Then,from the incompetence of the small citizens,the loss and rebirth of the youth space,and the replacement of daily history,the "thread head",the three parts of the story of "Eternal Sorrow" and the Chinese novel Shanghai Imagine are updated and changed based on "Eternal Sorrow".The process of the imagination model constructed by Song of Everlasting Hatred is gradually replaced.Based on this,the third chapter of the dissertation begins to reflect on the Chinese fiction Shanghai imagination after "Song of Everlasting Sorrow",and analyzes the reasons for its changes based on "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" and the literary history value of the Chinese novel Shanghai Imagination after "Song of Everlasting Hatred".The conclusion part of the paper argues that although the Shanghai imagination of Chinese novels after the "Song of Everlasting Hatred" has brought the expression of literature to the city into a cramped position,it is still looking forward to the development of a brand-new aesthetic in the path of literary imagination in the context of urbanization in China.
