From The Angle Of Communication To Discuss About Classics Novel "The Song Of Everlasting Sorrow" Adapting Into TV Plays

The novel“The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” is one of Anyi Wang’s representative works.The novel uses the 20 th century of Shanghai as the background,narrates the trivial daily life scene in the alley through a simple and delicate writing style to show the people and cities in the changing times.As soon as the novel is published,it is loved by the readers.At the same time,it is also widely concerned at home and abroad.It has been adapted into many kinds of art forms such as drama,film,and TV series.Among them,the TV series of the same name broadcast in 2006 is faithful to the whole original novel,trying to show the real Qiyao Wang of that era.Therefore,after the TV series broadcast,it has been appraised and loved by the audience.This article is divided into four chapters to explore the adaptation of the novel“The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” to TV series from the angel of communication.Combining literature research methods and communication related methods,this article discusses the adaptation of the novel “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” to TV series based on the communication theory,and the simultaneous interpreting effects of different media.The introduction part mainly explains the reason of why choose this topic as the research topic,sums up the current academic research status of the novel “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” and the TV series“The Song of Everlasting Sorrow”,and briefly explains the research methods and innovations used in the paper.In the second chapter,the author mainly discusses the media change process of“The Song of Everlasting Sorrow” from novel to TV series,and analyzes the four differences between the novel and TV series which are narrative language,thinking,time and space,and plot.The third chapter,combined with the way of questionnaire survey,discusses the characteristics of the audience groups of novels and TV series from two aspects:gender and age,education and major.The fourth chapter focuses on the different communication effects brought by novels and TV series,and discusses the attitude towards the current film adaptation.At the end chapter,the author summarize the different communication effects brought by the two different media,the novel and the TV series of “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow”,and the attitude towards film adaptation is also briefly explained.
