Abstract/Summary:
There are a lot of research results about the error analysis of various grammatical items in Chinese,but there are very few research results about the error analysis of the usage of Chinese “是” by Russian students.Foreign students study “是” in the beginning of Chinese language learning process.It seems to be simple,but the complexity of its usage leads to the high percentage of mistakes made by foreign students in it’s usage.Based on the previous research results,this study provides a new idea for the comparison of the grammatical characteristics of the Chinese “是” and Russian verbs “быть”,“являться”,“суть” and adverb “действительно” and puts forward teaching suggestions based on the experimental research methods.This research includes the further comparison of Chinese grammar items and Russian grammar items related to “是”:1.The classification of the Chinese verb “是” in the grammatical system2.A comparison of the Chinese verb "是" in the meaning of determination and the Russian verbs “быть”,“являться”3.A comparison of the Chinese verb “是” and Russian verbs with the meaning of existence4.The comparison of the Chinese structure “是……的” and the Russian adverbal participles and verbal participle’s clause5.The comparison of the Chinese adverb “是” indicating emphasis and the Russian adverb "действительно"Due to the big difference between Chinese and Russian grammar systems,it is difficult to unify the two language systems.However,in the process of comparative analyses of the Chinese “是” and the Russian verb “быть”,“являться” and “есть”,we found out that these two languages not only have the differences,there are also some similarities in them.These similarities are not obvious,so most Russian students cannot pay attention to such characteristics.This research includes a detailed analysis of the grammatical characteristics of the Chinese “是” on the basis of the similarities between the two types of grammatical points.This study also includes the partial error analysis,which is based on the BCC corpus data and the results of testing Russian students to the misuse of “是”.This study sorts out these data and makes statistical analysis with SPSS software.On the basis of data statistics,this study divides the errors in the usage of “是” into four categories(false addition,omission,false substitution,wrong order),and analyzes the information of the occurrence rate of such errors.In the process of error case analysis,it analyzes the grammatical items in which a certain error occurs,and then puts forward the hypothesis about the possible cause of the error.This research provides the analyses of the reasons for the misuse of “是” by Russian students.Through the analysis of errors and experimental test data,this research puts forward targeted pedagogical suggestions to reduce students’ errors in the use of the verb “是”.
