Wen Guoxin Literature Creation Research

Wen Guoxin,a writer who once had a certain influence in modern Chinese literary circle but has been buried for a long time.This paper presents his important achievements in novel,prose,new poetry and literary theory from all directions and angles on the basis of possessing a large number of historical materials.Wen Guoxin's life is closely related to his literary creation.The four stages of his life,i.e.the young man with strong ambition,the new literary star,the wandering years and teaching career,are one of the key contents of the discussion.Wen Guoxin's novels have three important characteristics:autobiographical nature,bottom survival perspective and tragic color.Besides these characteristics,the article also involves other aspects of Wen Guoxin's novels,such as psychological description,Beijing folk painting and historical novels.However,Wen Guoxin's prose includes three subject areas,namely,the prose of customs,the prose of travel notes and the prose of recalling the old.This paper reveals the folklore value,delicate and calm aesthetic characteristics,the sense of suffering and the value of the materials contained in his prose.As for Wen Guoxin's new poetry,in addition to the relationship of origin and inheritance with the early vernacular poetry and crescent poetry school,he also has a special interest in the image of "night",and in the meantime,he integrates the image of innovation and modernity.Wen Guoxin's literary theory idea includes four aspects: "regarding description as an important technique of literary creation","regarding emotion as the axis of diversified subject concept","regarding life as an important source of literature" and "paying equal attention to both content and form".It shows a steady side and can prove with his creation(especially novels and essays).
