Research On The Status Quo Of Chinese-Vietnamese Foreign Trade Text Translation

With the economic development of China and Vietnam,trading activities between the two countries have become more and more popular.Therefore,Chinese-Vietnamese is playing an increasingly important role in the foreign trade cooperation between the two countries,especially translation has also begun to receive attention.In order to promote the cooperative relationship between the two parties,develop trade and avoid some events that affect transactions,the skills of trading text translation are indispensable.This thesis draws on the current research results of China-Vietnam trading text translation in Vietnam and China,and combines the practice of China-Vietnam trading text translation to find out the characteristics of vocabulary and sentences in trading text translation,some existing problems,and finally put forward my own opinions.It is suggested that it is helpful for the translation of Chinese-Vietnamese trading texts.This study is divided into four chapters:The first chapter studies the style of Chinese-Vietnamese trading text translation and analyzes the status of translated words.The research is mainly divided into the translation of common words and the translation of special words.Studies have found euphemisms for words commonly used in trading texts.In general,courtesy and euphemism are used to express the other party's doubts,opinions,requests,demands,gratitude,apologies,and rejections.A large number of terminology are used in trading texts,and these terminology form a fixed word in international communication.Trading terminology are usually expressed in simple concepts or acronyms.The second chapter studies the situation of sentence translation in trading texts.It mainly analyzes sentence translation in trading texts,including sentence translation sequence and sentence form translation.The analysis results show that there are certain principles and methods for sentence translation.Some sentences are translated along,and some sentences must be translated upside down,and because they must conform to the Vietnamese expression habits when translated into Vietnamese,they must be translated into sentences.In addition,the sentence translation process uses commonly used sentence translation and fixed-form sentence translation.These common sentences and fixed format sentences help the translator's translation.The third chapter puts forward the problems existing in the translation of SinoVietnamese trading texts from the current analysis of the translation of words and sentences analyzed above.The analysis results show that the problems in the translation of trading texts are mainly polysemy misuse,appellation misuse,Sino-Vietnamese word misuse,professional term misuse and improper expression.There are three main reasons to find out the reasons for these problems.The first is that the translator is affected by the mother tongue.The translator pays too much attention to the Sino-Vietnamese words in Vietnamese during the process of learning Chinese,which leads to errors in the translation.The second is limited professional knowledge,because the translators themselves do not have much professional knowledge and do not understand the style of trading texts,which causes problems in the translation.The final reason is cultural differences.Although China and Vietnam are close friends and have the same culture,but after the development of society,the cultures of the two countries are also different.Translators do not grasp these reasons well enough to cause unnecessary problems.The fourth chapter discusses the solutions to the problems in the translation of trading texts.The translators themselves need to understand the translation work and have extensive professional knowledge,and finally put forward my own suggestions.Translators must first cultivate their own qualities and possess deep knowledge.Finally,the conclusion part,the author summarizes the research content of this thesis.This thesis analyzes the translation of words and sentences in Chinese and Vietnamese trading texts.Through analysis,find out the problems in the translation of Sino-Vietnamese foreign trade texts.The main reasons for these problems are the influence of the mother tongue,limited professional knowledge,and cultural differences.
