The Application And Research Of Jazz Drum Rhythm Filling In Swing Music

As a kind of modern percussion instrument,jazz drum plays an important role in the development of popular music,especially in blues and jazz.By means of various means and ways of performance of jazz drum rhythms,the musical texture structure of swing music is greatly enriched,and people’s cognition of jazz drum performance skills is constantly updated.At the same time,improvisation in the use of rhythm to fill swing music continues to innovate.In order to further understand and learn the different types of rhythms used in swing music and apply them properly in the music,drum rhythms can be arranged smoothly and naturally,whether in the filling transition between sections or in the rich and full in the improvisation.In this paper,by studying the techniques of jazz drum playing in swing music at home and abroad,and doing a lot of spectrum analysis of swing music,the rhythm type,function performance,improvisation and rational application of rhythm filling in swing music are analyzed and studied.
