With the development of the times and the quickening of the occupation transformation,the laborers need to renew their knowledge structure and update their professional skills to meet the challenge of the changing work practice.This is especially true for the traditional craftsmen who are in the process of transforming from traditional society to modern society.And the best learning and capacity development often takes place where certain skills need to be used,that is,in the workplace.Therefore,based on the inheritance and development of traditional handicraft,through interview and observation,this paper explores the status quo of the traditional handicraft artisan's workplace learning and excavates their learning obstacles in the workplace,it is not only beneficial to the development of the traditional handicraft artisan's personal professional ability,but also to some extent to promote the development of the traditional handicraft.Workplace learning is a new form of learning in which learners enhance their overall quality and promote the development of the organization in a variety of ways,taking practice as the orientation,in the workplace or based on specific working situations.For traditional craftsmen,the learning motivation to gain market share,to promote the process inheritance and to promote the process development drives them to integrate work and study,and to interact with interpersonal and social situations,not only do they acquire diverse knowledge and professional skills,but the dimensions of work attitudes such as focus,attention,dedication,and innovation are also reinforced through workplace learning.However,while affirming the effectiveness of workplace learning of traditional craftsmen,it should be soberly realized that there are also barriers to the effectiveness of workplace learning: one is "wrong learning",that is,what learners actually learn does not correspond to what they want to learn;Second,"learning defense",that is,learners in the change of the external environment,in order to maintain their own psychological balance,so that learning does not occur or distorted into other things,on their own learning caused some interference learning obstacles;Third,"Learning Island",that is,learners in learning relatively closed,isolated,the lack of communication and cooperation with the outside world.Therefore,in order to improve the effect of workplace learning,traditional craftsmen should improve the content of workplace learning,motivation and interaction,respectively,to improve the learning content system and avoid "wrong learning";To stimulate the intrinsic learning motivation,overcome the "learning defense",strengthen the interaction of learning,break through the "learning island".
