Research On The Development Of Traditional Handicraft Under The NGO Model

Intangible cultural heritage,as a "memory" of traditional culture in a nation or region,is an important way to search for cultural roots,and also an important factor to enhance our cultural soft power.Traditional handicraft as a category of intangible cultural heritage is also an important part of the traditional farming society and its economic source.With the development of society and the transformation of lifestyle,people’s demand for rich traditional Chinese culture,humanized and diversified handicrafts and cultural works is increasing.However,the traditional arts and crafts are separated from the modern aesthetic and can not be well combined with the market.How to effectively protect these endangered handicraft skills has become the concern of all departments at present.In recent years,NGO play a more and more important role in traditional handicraft protection.NGO can make up for the shortage of traditional handicrafts and make up for market failure.NGO namely non governmental organization.The non governmental organization,non profit organization and public welfare organization mentioned in this paper are all equivalent to NGO.In this paper the definition of the protection of traditional handicrafts,non governmental organization and non governmental organization in the basic position of the protection of traditional handicrafts in the development through literature research,field investigation,the first analysis of the characteristics of the basic situation and the activities of China’s public organization non governmental organization to participate in the protection of traditional Arts and crafts,finally summarizes the non governmental organization in three modes of intervention the traditional handicraft development,namely funded mode,operation mode and development mode of multiple products.At the same time with the Tencent charitable foundation,Le Chuang Yi,China Social Entrepreneur Foundation of the development of non government organization of traditional crafts are analyzed,that the function of non government organization in the protection of traditional arts and crafts activities reflected in direct participation or even replace government involvement in the innovation of traditional handicraft heritage protection,enhance the three aspects and the public information communication and emotion communication,bear part of the public affairs management functions etc..And then a typical case of public welfare organization “Xihan Action” is used to study the development of traditional handicraft model.“Xihan Action” formed its own mode of development in the protection and development of traditional arts and crafts,through the integration of culture,combing public education,innovation,market expansion of intangible cultural heritage protection project practice handicraft,public ecosystem integration resources to build the traditional crafts of sustainable development,it will also be one of the main trends of traditional arts and crafts protection development.This paper summarizes several models in the domestic non government organization development of traditional crafts,to defend the action of dilute as typical case for specific analysis,summed up the mode of non governmental organization to participate in the protection of traditional handicrafts development,then summarizes the non governmental organization in the significance and predicament of traditional handicraft development.
