With the deep influence of modern information technology on people's lives,people are more and more aware of the great changes that must take place in the way of education in the new century.Therefore,this study puts forward the teaching suggestions of the deep integration of modern information technology and Subject Teaching,and explores new teaching modes and the changes of students' learning modes brought about by the subject integration.This study deals with the English reading ability that both teachers and students are eager to promote and improve,explores the teaching mode of deep integration of modern information technology and high school English extended reading teaching.Therefore,this study raises three questions:(1)what kind of teaching mode should be constructed under the background of Internet plus?(2)Can this kind of teaching mode realize the improvement of high school students' English reading literacy?(3)What other qualities of high school students will this teaching mode have an impact on?Based on the theory of “Internet plus education” and the extended reading theory,this study combines the traditional PWP(Pre-reading,While-reading and Post-reading)reading teaching mode and the information technology “four basic elements” theory to construct and design teaching mode,and explores the influence of this teaching mode on students' English reading literacy,information literacy and learning ability.In this study,99 students from two classes of a four-star high school in Jiangsu Province were selected to collect data.Firstly,the reading test scores of the subjects before and after the implementation of the teaching mode were collected,so as to analyze the impact of the teaching mode on the reading literacy characterized by reading test performance.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey and interview survey,the changes of reading literacy,information literacy and learning style of the experimental class students are studied.In this study,descriptive statistics,Levene variance homogeneity test and independent sample t-test in SPSS25 software were used to analyze the data,and the following conclusions were drawn based on the interview survey results: firstly,under the Internet plus background,the integration of modern information technology and high school reading teaching,combining PWP reading teaching method and information technology “four basic elements” theory,constructs a reading teaching mode that takes pre-reading class,while-reading class and post-reading class as a whole.In practical teaching process,the mode can be operated and the effect can be measured.Secondly,Through the integration of modern information technology and high school English extended reading teaching,students' reading literacy,such as reading test scores,reading habits,reading content,reading strategies,solving problems in reading,and reflective ability,has been improved.In addition to reading literacy,students' learning style,information literacy,ability to deal with team cooperation,ability to analyze and solve problems,innovation ability and other aspects have been greatly improved.This study reveals that extended reading teaching can be effectively integrated with modern information technology in the cooperation between teachers and students.The teacher selects high-quality texts suitable for senior high school students to read.Through effective intensive reading in the classroom,the classes are closely linked with the extracurricular reading activities,and the teacher creates simulated situation in line with the reading texts,so that students can“immerse themselves” to deal with the actual problems.The teacher changes the way of education,and the students change the way of learning,so that it will lay a good foundation for the development of reading literacy,information literacy and learning ability needed in their future work and lives.
