The English-Chinese Translation Practice Report Of Optical Studies Of Dynamics In Noble Metal Nanostructures

The selected text of this translation practice is the main body of the scientific paper named Optical Studies of Dynamics in Noble Metal Nanostructures,which mainly introduces the theoretical calculations and related applications of nanoparticles in the field of optics.There are a lot of abbreviations,nominalizations,formulas and relative clauses in the original text,which has a compact structure and rigorous content.Under the guidance of communicative translation strategy,combined with the characteristics of the original text,some translation methods of abbreviations and nominalizations in science and technology English(EST) are studied.What’s more,the logical problems in formula derivation translation could be solved by “semantic annotation method” and“formula preposition method”.Additionally,for the complex structure and difficult content of relative clauses,“explanation method” and “reorganization method” are proposed.The purpose of this practice is to provide the reference for scholars who study EST translation and contribute to the development of optical research in China.
