On The Homeland Consciousness Of Lingnan Exiled Officials In Tang Dynasty

Home consciousness is a common cultural complex among ancient scholars.As an important motif of Chinese traditional literature,it contains rich cultural connotations.Just as "the motif is not an accidental idea or emotional experience of a writer's individualization expressed in a single work,but an emotional or experiential model with human universality and historical continuity.It is a stylized and routinized literary tradition." Under the background of social and cultural background of Tang Dynasty,this paper interprets the literary tradition of the Lingnan(South of the Five Ridges)relegated officers' home consciousness in combination with the profound connotation of regional culture and relegation culture.From the aesthetic category of "Home Consciousness",we can understand relegated officers' behavior,emotional orientation and spiritual core.At the same time,the aesthetic implication of home consciousness is explored by relegation poems of the Lingnan relegated officers.Chapter one analyses the origin of home consciousness and the cultural and psychological causes of the relegated officers.The first section traces the origin of home consciousness,which can be divided into two stages.Firstly,from the pre-Qin period,as the source of poetry,"Book of Songs" and "Songs of Chu" are the beginning of home consciousness.Secondly,the period of Han,Wei and Six Dynasties is the development stage of home consciousness.Since the Book of Songs,countless poems embody the cultural tradition of "home consciousness",which has been the theme of people's sadness since ancient times.The second section analyses the cultural and psychological causes of the Lingnan relegated officers' home consciousness.Firstly,the combination of loyalty to the monarch and home consciousness is the cultural tradition of home consciousness,which is related to the home isomorphism under the patriarchal clan system,and embodied in literature is the idea of loyalty to the monarch and patriotism.Secondly,it is the characteristics of centralization.The dominant position of the small-scale peasant economy in ancient China determined the idea of relocation of land,which was closely related to the land.It was embodied in the characteristics of Central Plains in the imperial courtiers.Chapter two introduces the emotional implication of the home consciousness of the relegated officers.Under the irresistible tragic fate,the elucidation of his home consciousness of the relegated officers tends to the writing of sadness.This chapter is divided into four sections.Section one is the tragedy of relegation,that is,under the harsh system of relegation,political ideals are shattered and official lamentation occurs.Section two is the martyrdom of foreign lands which is to study the relationship between the expatriate officials and the natural and cultural environment of foreign South of the Five Ridges.Section three is the sigh of life,i.e.the relegated officers' fear of the passing of life(time).Section four is the hope of relatives and friends which is the group consciousness generated by the ancient society on the basis of geography and consanguinity,and missing relatives and friends is also the expression of home consciousness.Chapter three introduces the main characteristics of the relegated officers' home consciousness.The first is time and space consciousness.Home itself is the concept of time and space.With the change of time and space,the literary poetry of time and space situation naturally blends into the sense of time and space.In addition to worrying about life(time),the strong sense of time of the relegated officers is mainly reflected in two aspects:relegation and festivity.Space consciousness is mainly embodied in the sense of spatial heterogeneity between the South and the north.In poetry creation,it is also manifested in the long distance of devaluation and return,the barrier of space,and the vastness of foreign lands.The knot of the two is the comparison between the past and the present,the remembrance and recall of the past.The second is consciousness of reside as a visitor and Prisoner consciousness.Relegation means losing one's home,so one feels that life is like a guest and a prisoner.The chapter four is to construct a psychological homeland in order to eliminate and surpass sadness.Homecoming is not what you wish for.How can you save yourself?The first is depending on characters and achieving the immortality of literature.The second is abandoning oneself to nature and release disposition.The third is to practise meditation and realize the truth or philosophic theory,then beyond Suffering.The last is realizing self-worth with the heart of benevolence to the people and loving things...
