Analysis Of The Vocabulary Difficulties In The English-Chinese Translation Of Securities Contracts And Their Solutions

Based on the characteristics of English and Chinese contractual languages,this paper is to analyze the vocabularies and the methods are proposed to deal with the difficulties existing in the contract translation because of differences in two languages.According to the characteristics of the contract language,the proper translation principles are selected,which involves in conversion of "general vocabularies" into "legal vocabularies",disambiguation of vocabularies and superposition of vocabularies in the securities contract,and the translation skills are used such as addition,omission and conversion of word classes to solve the difficulties encountered during translating.
