Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays,information technology has a profound impact on the development of educational modernization.The first challenge faced by modern education is the changing of humans’ literacy skills from simplification to pluralism.Correctly using multiliteracies not only makes students get benefits in the depth and breadth of learning,but also enables them to give full play to their creativity on the basis of rationality.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to cultivation of multiliteracies.However,compared to the research on multiliteracies,the research on learning resources,especially the research on multimodal learning resources has not been paid much attention to at present.This study is divided into three parts: firstly,it combs the research status of literacy and multiliteracies.By using the ideas of Social Semiotics,Cognitive Psychology,Linguistics,Education and other theories,this paper analyzes the multimodal learning resources used in primary school English teaching at present,and probes into the various influencing factors of students’ multiliteracies.Combined with the theory,this paper takes the cultivation of multiliteracies and classroom teaching tasks into account;and sums up the design principles of multimodal learning resources.Secondly,according to the practical requirements of teachers’ teaching during the class,it redesigns the textbook content and teachers’ teaching PPT and other multimodal learning resources.Thirdly,this research makes the electronic design of six volumes of paper resources for extracurricular reading.And by doing tests and interviews with teachers and students,it discusses the methods to do the design of multimodal learning resources.Finally,through the summary of the whole research process,the purpose of this paper is to provide relevant suggestions and practical reference for teachers to design multimodal leaning resources independently.
