Fang Rending 1931-1972 Female Figure Painting Research

This paper takes the female figure paintings of Mr.Fang rending from 1931 to 1972 as the research object,mainly analyzes the female figure paintings of Mr.Fang rending from the perspective of comparative method,and classifies his works according to the calendar and subject matter,which can be divided into four stages.(1)take the Anti-Japanese War from 1931 to 1946 as the first stage;(2)take 1946 to 1962 as the second stage;(3)the third stage was after 1962;(4)at last,he created a series of paintings named pi pa xing and west chamber.In terms of the research steps,this paper mainly analyzes Mr.Fang rending's modeling concept,expression language and brush and ink techniques.Combined with his published works on art,it focuses on the modeling,composition,brush and ink,dyeing and other aspects used by fang rending in female characters.Finally,the author explains the inspiration of fang rending's works in this paper.
