Jin Opera Music Research

Jinju is one of the representative operas with distinctive features in northern Chinese operas.It has a long history,rich repertoire,unique music and excellent performing skills,and has been listed as the national intangible cultural heritage.Music is a distinctive artistic feature of local operas,which is different from other operas.The music of Jinju has distinct local characteristics,has its own unique singing board system and instrumental music card usage method,and gradually formed its own unique style characteristics.In order to understand the music of Jinju more comprehensively,protect its heritage better and make it develop continuously,Jinju has attracted more attention from all walks of life in recent years.Scholars in opera circles have done a lot of research work on it,mainly focusing on the research of drama texts,performing artists and singing methods.This paper chooses Jinju as the research object,adopts the method of combination of cultural background description and music form analysis,and focuses on its music form on the basis of elaborating the cultural background of Jinju,explores the development law of Jinju music,and also gives enlightenment to the inheritance of Jinju in the contemporary era.This paper is divided into four parts: The first chapter is an overview of Jinju,which briefly combs the formation and development of Jinju and defines and explains the definition of "Jinju" to illustrate that today's Jinju only refers to the traditional Bangzi.The second chapter is an overview of the musical form of Jinju,which is divided into three parts: singing,instrumental music and the relationship between melody and language.The third chapter is the study of Jinju music ontology,using music examples to make a more detailed study of the two major parts of Jinju music: singing and instrumental music.The fourth chapter is the inheritance and development of Jinju music.This part includes the collection and analysis of the creation of traditional Jinju and contemporary Jinju.It also includes the investigation of Jinju practitioners and ordinary people.It examines the survival status of Jinju from a two-sided perspective,and makes prospects for the achievements and problems faced by the cause of Jinju.The purpose of this paper is to sort out and study the music of Jinju from shallow to deep and systematically,which can possibly solve the problems of some scholars who are newly involved in the field of Jinju.In this process,we can summarize the development experience of Jinju,show the unique artistic charm of Jinju to the world,promote the development of Jinju cause,and make a slight contribution to the promotion of Shanxi traditional opera music culture.
