Yang Renshan's "judgment Of Religion" Thought

Conflicts between civilizations occur frequently in the world today.How to spread and promote civilizations on the basis of peaceful dialogue and exchanges has become one of the important issues of concern to the world.After Buddhism flows into China,the process of peaceful integration with Chinese culture is worth learning from.In the late qing dynasty,when Buddhism was in decline,it coordinated the internal and external relations of Buddhism,which enabled Buddhism to revitalize again.Yang Renshan was a key figure.Yang Renshan's panjiao thought made a great contribution to solving the conflicts among different sects of Buddhism and coordinating the relationship between Buddhism,Confucianism and Taoism.An in-depth and systematic study of Yang Renshan's thoughts on panjiao will be of great enlightening significance to the communication and dialogue between different civilizations.This paper studies Yang Renshan's panjiao thoughts from the narrow sense and the broad sense.This paper discusses in detail how Yang Renshan harmonized the relationship between different sects of Buddhism and how Yang Renshan integrated Buddhism,Confucianism and Taoism.Yang Renshan's panjiao thought has the characteristics of mahayana,pure land,compatibility and inclusion.Yang Renshan's panjiao thought has the significance of promoting the development of Buddhism and establishing an inclusive cultural view.Through the study of the development of Buddhism after Yang Renshan,especially the study of his later buddhist thoughts,it is concluded that Yang Renshan's thought of panjiao has played an important positive role in culture.His concept of inclusive culture has penetrated into the thoughts of later scholars,promoting the mutual integration and common development of various excellent cultures.
