| With the constant progress of society,the pace of people’s life is becoming faster and faster.People begin to attach importance to the issue of their psychological health in addition to physical health.Psychological test is a more advanced test method of clinical diagnosis in the mental health.Through a series of scientific methods,the subjects’psychological characteristics are quantitatively manifested by mathematical way.It is a measuring method through which the psychological factors and psychological differences are compared.Psychological tests are usually conducted by questionnaires conforming to the reliability and validity.Therefore,the subjects are easily affected by the surrounding environment such as weather,light,noise,and so on during the test.Besides,many subjects may consciously avoid some questions.For all of the reasons above,the test results are not accurate due to the answers may not true.The continuous development of virtual reality technology provides a new test method for psychological testing.It breaks through the difficulties in traditional psychological scales for solving the problems,such as the subjects are illiterate,they need to imagine the scenes that are described,or they may avoid testing questions.The combination of social anxiety research and the psychology study provides a new idea for the development of social psychology study based on VR technology and the development of technology platforms in China.The virtual environment of instant feedback created by virtual reality not only makes up the shortcomings of traditional psychological testing methods,but also provides a good supplementary method for social psychology research.This paper studies the virtual reality technology intervention in the testing of social anxiety in social psychology,builds a virtual environment for social anxiety test and tracks the conditions of the subjects in the scene,thus,the advantages and disadvantages of the virtual test environment and the traditional questionnaire scale will be found out through the comparisons.The research is divided into the following sections:(1)The purpose of this part of the test is to lay the foundation for future social anxiety tests,to allow the subjects to accept the created virtual environment during the experience process,and to understand and learn to use virtual devices.We adopt the principle of gradual adaptation and gradual progress,design two stages of adaptive testing with similar meaning according to the test scenario,and use the ITC-SoPI scale to assess the individual’s adaptability to the virtual environment and their subjective perception.(2)In order to enhance the sense of immersion,the sense of presence and improve the test results,we propose to build a virtual environment for social anxiety testing through 3dMax modeling technology and Unity software.The content of the scene design is measured in six different dimensions which include strange occasions,being watched,embarrassing incidents,talking to strangers,public speaking,and psychological conditions in front of the crowd.The virtual test scenario was adapted from the Social Anxiety Questionnaire scale to improve the test bias of the paper questionnaire in which the subjects could not correctly imagine the test scenario and understand the test purpose.The functions of the scene design mainly include:the picking function of the handle component,the teleport function,the collision detection and trigger function,the gaze interaction function and the field collision detection.(3)To further understand the credibility and ecological validity of the test that is attained from the subjects under the intervention of virtual environment,the controlled experiment was used to analyze the credibility of the self-awareness scale and the social anxiety scale by Crobach a reliability coefficient,and the correlation and significance level of each scale are then analyzed by SPSS software.It shows that the results of social anxiety assessment and the self-awareness scale with virtual reality intervention are better and more relevant because the VR technology is more conducive to the subject’s understanding of the questions and test purposes.Besides,the degree of individual social anxiety in the virtual environment is slightly higher.Therefore,the virtual reality interventions have positive influence on social anxiety testing.The VR-based social anxiety test can provides more detailed and comprehensive test information and data,and the test results are closer to the self-assessment scale,the individual’s daily life,and status.Compared with the traditional questionnaire scale test,it shows better reliability and stability.In addition,it also provides more scientific and objective clinical test data and reference value. |
