Robert Schumann is a famous composer and critic in Germany.His “Sonata in G Minor” is one of the representative works of piano sonata genre in the romantic period.It is technically difficult,with distinctive style and strong emotion.It is of great artistic value in the theoretical research and stage practice.This paper will interpret the performance technique and style of his work from multiple perspectives.Through in-depth theoretical research,to strengthening the cognition and understanding of the work,and provide more reference support for the stage practice and teaching research.In the first part,the author makes an overview of the composer's life,the music style and work background;In the second part,the author in-depth interprets the performance skills from the aspects of speed selection,full pedal and half pedal,the force of key-touch and the diversity of timbre,etc,In the third part,the author makes an explanation and summary of the performance style from two aspects: a comparison of the shaping of music image and the style of performance version.
