Academic procrastination refers to the irrational behavior that learners intentionally fail to complete their academic tasks within the scheduled period,or that learners push the academic tasks that should be dealt with in time to the future.The behavior can produce many bad emotions at the same time.Academic procrastination has many negative effects.Nowadays,with the development of society,more and more college students are suffering from academic procrastination.Therefore,for solving the increasingly serious academic procrastination of college students,it is particularly important to pay positive attention and take effective measures.This study,combined with previous relevant studies,introduced the two variables,time management and boredom,to further explore the influence mechanism of them on academic procrastination,and compiled a group intervention program to conduct intervention research on the procrastinating group of college students.Study one use “Boredom proneness questionnaire”,“Adolescence time management disposition scale” and “Academic Procrastination inventory for college student” to conduct questionnaire surveys of students from two colleges in shandong province.This study recovery 400 questionnaires in total and conduct data analysis to explore the status quo and correlation of college student's time management,boredom and academic procrastination.Study two taking the results of Study one as the theoretical basis,combined with the group counseling method of time management training,self-compiled group activity program to intervention study for the selected subjects divided into the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group received intervention study for 6 weeks,while the control group did not receive any intervention.Intervention activities aim to improve the ability of college students to manage time,reduce the occurrence of academic procrastination.According to the research,the following conclusions are obtained:1.In general,college students are at a medium level in time management,boredom and academic procrastination.2.There are significant differences in demographic variables between college student' s time management,boredom and academic procrastination.3.Time management negatively affects college student's academic procrastination.4.Boredom plays a moderating role in time management and academic procrastination.5.The intervention activities designed in this study can effectively improve college student' s time management and reduce academic procrastination.6.After the intervention,there were significant differences in time management,time management' s various dimensions and academic procrastination aspects between the experimental group in pre-test and its post-test,and between the experimental group in post-test and the control group in post-test.7.After the intervention,there was no one significant difference in time management,time management' s various dimensions and academic procrastination aspects between the control group in pre-test and the control group in post-test.This paper studies the influence mechanism of time management,boredom and academic procrastination,and according to the relevant conclusions in the student self-construction,teacher guidance and school management put forward targeted education recommendations.
