| This paper is a practical report on field interpretation.In the "Oriental" Long jiang tour project,the author has worked as the interpreter for a week.In this paper,the author expounds some problems in the process of translation practice,including poor translation structure,redundant translation and overlook of historical and cultural information,then analyzes the causes of these problems,and gives corresponding counter measures.During this activity,the author experienced the difficulty of interpreting on the spot,and has improved translation ability while solving these problems.The development trend of interpretation for tour guides is on the rise.More and more tour companies choose tour guides with a certain level of English knowledge to lead group tours and conduct accompanying interpretation,which is a new direction for students majoring in interpretation to find jobs and a new aspect of interpretation study and research.Through the analysis and summary of the practical experience,the author hopes to provide some experience and ideas for those who are or will be engaged in tourism interpretation,and also hope to contribute to the further development of the field of interpretation. |
