| In the period of high development of science and technology and gradual anti-guest influence of photography on modern painting,we can’t do anything about the pictures produced by the media.But Gerhard Richter has provided us with more crazy and civilized pictures than the media through photographic painting,one of his main creative styles.This article is mainly divided into five parts.The first chapter analyses the social and cultural background factors of Gerhard Richter’s photo painting.Because of the changing political and economic environment,his creation is quite different from that of other painters in other countries at the same time.This is also an important reason why Gerhard Richter will never realize the desire to focus on the theme,visual pleasure,physical and mental attachment,emotional desire and complaint,as well as the satire and criticism of reality have always existed in the theme of photo painting.The second chapter explores the artistic techniques of photo painting,mainly from the use of photo ideological,objective reproduction,recording,gray tone as the main and fuzzy treatment of the three aspects of analysis.Chapter three,according to Richter’s social background,analyses the ideological significance of photo painting from the emotional sense of belonging to family and the struggle against political society.Chapter Four analyses the form of photo painting through blurring and gradient,rhythm and contrast.Finally,the fifth chapter is about the relationship between film and painting,the contrast between photo painting and photo realistic painting,and the influence of Gerhard Richter’s photo painting on domestic art according to the actual domestic environment.A kind of blur appears in Gerhard Richter’s photographic painting.This kind of blurred picture,which is similar to photographic photography without focusing or moving,emphasizes the identity of the work as a painting.Gerhard Richter’s photo painting is neither a document nor a fiction,but it depicts the most important aspects of human life and living conditions.We need to be skeptical in order to correctly view the phenomena in our works.While understanding and thinking about Richter’s photographic thoughts,we should reasonably grasp the dialectical relationship between photographs and paintings,combine the unique social environment of China with the multi-cultural and artistic creation ideas of photographic paintings,grasp the essence of things in the process of creation,and better express our subjective consciousness,feelings and artistic ideas as works. |
