Previous studies on the prosocial behavior of preschool children have accumulated a large number of results about the development of typical prosocial behaviors.In addition,the investigation of the relationship between prosocial behavior and its influencing factors has become an important branch of children's social development,especially the ability to adapt.Family is an important place for the social development of preschool children.Family education is investigated by many researchers as the main relationship variables.However,children's motives for prosocial behavior may be affected by parental attitudes and value beliefs.The influence of children's own regulatory factors,that is,those who are lively and cheerful,are more likely to have prosocial behavior.In this study,we examined the parental rearing style,the pre-school children's prosocial behavior and the general characteristics of emotional regulation,focusing on the relationship between parenting style and pro-social behavior of preschool children,and included emotional adjustment variables to understand emotional regulation.What role has played between family education and prosocial behavior.In this study,465 pre-school children from two public kindergartens were selected as subjects in the study.The parents or the main caregivers self-evaluated their own parenting styles in the form of questionnaires.Behavioral status and emotional adjustment were assessed.This study draws the following conclusions:1.The pre-school children's prosocial behavior is generally good,with significant differences in age and gender.The prosocial behavior of boys is lower than that of girls.The stage of 4 to 5 years is a period of rapid development of prosocial behavior.The pro-social behavior is not significantly different in terms of whether it is the only one.2,preschool children's emotional regulation is significantly different in age and gender,girls are better than boys in efforts to control,boys are more impulsive than girls;overall,the level of emotional adjustment of preschool children with age increases to a high level,In the 4 to 5 years old stage is in a period of development stability.There is no significant difference in whether emotional regulation is unique.3.Parental rearing methods are mostly democratically educated,followed by authoritarian parenting.The parenting style differs significantly in the education of parents or primary caregivers,and parents in the undergraduate section adopt more democratic parenting styles.4.There is a significant correlation between parents' parenting style,emotional regulation and prosocial behavior.5.Emotional regulation plays a part in mediating between parenting style and prosocial behavior.
