Chinese text marker is an important means of Chinese text cohesion, which mainly used to shows the hierarchical relationship between sentence or sentence group. This paper focuses on the gradual combing and synchronic comparison of the three types of hierarchical marks represented by“di X(?X)”,“qi X(?X)”,“shou xian/qi ci/zai ci/zui hou(??/??/??/??)”,focusing on the position and function of the hierarchical text mark. The introduction part of this paper mainly includes the meaning of the topic, the research status, the research methods, the discussion of the research objectives, and the discussion of innovation points and difficulties. In addition to the introduction part, this paper is divided into five chapters, each chapter describes the evolution process, evolution law and evolutionary incentives of each hierarchical marker. The first chapter“Overview of Chinese Hierarchical Text Marking”is centered on the definition of hierarchical text mark.Based on the previous studies, the research object is defined, and the research object of this paper is“di X(?X)”,“qi X(?X)”,“shou xian/qi ci/zai ci/zui hou(??/??/??/??)”,and finally explain the classification criteria and distribution characteristics of the hierarchical mark. The second chapter,“The diachronic investigation of the‘di X(?X)'hierarchical text mark”,mainly discusses the development of“di N(?X)”mark from the ancient times to the modern era.It briefly describes the process of the“shou xian(??)”in the pre-Qin period becoming a mark and then condensing into a word,to describe how the“di(?)+shu(?)”developed into a textual mark. The evolution of“di X(?X)”marks has generally gone through the grammaticalization process as a component in a sentence to a mark that becomes independent of the sentence.Since the the beginning of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the“di(?)+shu(?)”has been used as a component of the sentence to modify the nouns. It became a hierarchical mark in the Five Dynasties and was widely used in modern times. The grammatical factors of the formation of“di X(?X)”markers include syntactic construction and semantic changes, semantic anaphora, the influence of rhythm, and the expansion of the range of the boundary and the enhancement of the ability of the boundary. The third chapter,“The diachronic investigation of the ‘qi X(? X)' hierarchical text mark”,first sorts out the “qi X(? X)” class mark according to different periods, and finds that the evolution process of “qi X(? X)” class mark is different from the “di X(? X)” mark.Combined with the description of the change law of the structure of “qi(?)+ shu(?)” in the second section, the “qi X(? X)” class mark is directly developed from the phrase structure to the hierarchical mark, and the structure of “di(?)+ shu(?)” is not completely condensed into words. In terms of development and change, the “qi X(? X)” mark is similar to the “di X(? X)” standard: in the pre-Qin and Han dynasties,“qi(?)+ shu(?)” jointly modified the components of the sentence(especially the predicate)to show the sentence hierarchy, but the number is small; After becoming the mark in the Six Dynasties,“qi(?)+ shu(?)” became the “qi X(? X)” mark, but the development was slow;In the modern and contemporary times, the “qi X(? X)” mark was widely used. The factors for the evolution of the “qi X(? X)” mark mainly include the increase in the frequency of use of numerals, the influence of semantic ambiguity and context, and the influence of rhythms. The fourth chapter“The diachronic investigation of the‘shou xian/qi ci/zai ci/zui hou(??/??/??/??)'hierarchical text mark”starts from the form and position of the mark, and knows that the“shou xian(??)”class mark is used in comparison with“di X(?X)”and“qi X(?X)”,and the mark is more fixed and has a certain advantage in quantity. The time-level mark is most typical of“shou xian/qi ci/zai ci/zui hou(??/??/??/??)”.The marking process of the four is similar but different. In addition to“zai ci(??)”,the other three marks also include the process of lexicalization in the formation of the form. The the time of word formation of the“shou xian/qi ci/zai ci/zui hou(??/??/??/??)”is late, and the period of becoming a hierarchical mark is later, basically concentrated in the the Republic of China, and it has only been widely used in modern times. Finally, the evolutionary incentives of the four hierarchical markers also include syntactic construction and semantic changes, semantic anaphora, rhythm effects, and semantic ambiguity and context effects. The fifth chapter,“Investigation of Chinese Hierarchical Text Marking”,is mainly to compare the function and meaning of each level of markers, and to discover the nuances between the hierarchical markers.First of all,the difference between time mark and logical mark is mainly reflected in the two aspects of style and articulation. In style, each mark has an absolute advantage in the political style. In the cohesive function, the main difference between the“di X(?X)”mark,“qi X(?X)”mark, and the“shou xian/qi ci/zai ci/zui hou(??/??/??/??)”mark is that the former focuses on the selection of the order, while the latter focuses on the chronological choice. The mixed phenomenon of hierarchical markers is the performance of similar functions between markers, and is also an important factor to promote the generation and development of markers. The reason for the mixed phenomenon is mainly due to the difference in function and semantics. Finally, the full text is summarized.
