Zhou Qingyuan And His "West Lake Two Episodes" Research

Two Collections of West Lake Stories written by Qingyuan Zhou,which is not only a unique work in the Ming dynasty colloquial short stories,but also one of the representative works of "West Lake novel".Two Collections of West Lake Stories recorded a number of west lake related customs and legends with strong regional color.On the basis of Two Collections of West Lake Stories text,and combing Qingyuan Zhou's life experience and the specific social background of the late Ming dynasty,the paper explores the unique cultural implication contained in Two Collections of West Lake Stories.This paper includes four parts.The first part is the exploration of the cultural relationship between Qingyuan Zhou and West Lake.Through sorting out relevant literature,the life experience of Qingyuan Zhou can be clearly presented,which laid a foundation for the research and identification of the two Qingyuan Zhou who were in Ming and Qing dynasty.On this basis,from the text,the relationship between west lake culture and Two Collections of West Lake Stories is explored.The second part is the character image theory of Two Collections of West Lake Stories.Qingyuan Zhou created many characters with their own characteristics in The Two Collections of West Lake Stories.Through the systematic classification of the characters in Two Collections of West Lake Stories,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the characters,and then analyzes the cultural implication of each type of characters and the critical consciousness behind each type of characters.The third part talks about the plots and poems of Two Collections of West Lake Stories.Qingyuan Zhou is not only good at character shaping,but also does well in incorporating poem into the text without trace.Starting from the origin of the integration of poems into Two Collections of West Lake Stories,this paper explores Qingyuan Zhou's poetic complex,and through the analysis of the differences of the existing ways of poems of Two Collections of West Lake Stories,the inner relationship between the plots and poems in Two Collections of West Lake Stories is clarified.The fourth part traces the source of Two Collections of West Lake Stories and makes a comprehensivediscussion of its influence and discusses its cultural implication and cultural value,and grasps the influence of Two Collections of West Lake Stories on The West Lake Gleanings from a macro perspective.Through the in-depth exploration of the above four aspects,This paper tries to make clear the regional culture and humanistic implication contained in Two Collections of West Lake Stories,and the critical consciousness expressed by Qingyuan Zhou is clearly presented through the content of the story.
