Research On Ye Guohui's Three Works With Musical Elements Of Peking Opera

This paper focuses on the three works which contain the musical elements of Peking Opera,which are composed by Guohui Ye,a famous contemporary composer.The mixed chorus "Beijing Opera Impression",the piano solo "Beijing Opera Theme Impromptu" and the orchestral music "Lanfang Mei Overture" are three works that contain Beijing opera musical elements.For the research,through the analysis of the structure of the three music pieces,as well as the deep analysis of the source and the development of the musical theme in the pieces,explore the characteristics of creative techniques in the three works,and then explore how Guohui Ye’s creation based on national music elements such as Peking Opera reflects his creation ideas based on tradition,integration of Chinese and western culture.The full text is composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces the reason and significance of the topic selection,the research status in China and foreign country,the research ideas and methods,the composer’s life,the music works involved in the article and their creative conception,as well as the definition of the musical elements of Peking Opera in this article.The text consists of three chapters.The first section of the first chapter analyses the musical form and structure of the three works.The second section analyses the structural force of the three works in four aspects: theme and core tone,speed and rhythm,timbre and singing(playing)method and lyrics.The second chapter analyses the music theme of the three works.The first section analyses the source of the music theme materials in the three works in the traditional Peking opera music.The second section analyses the development of the musical theme in the three works.Based on the textual analysis of the first two chapters,the third chapter focuses on the creative techniques of the three works in terms of structural alignment,tone reproduction,polyphonic creation techniques and timbre sounds.Based on the analysis and research on the musical structure,theme and characteristics of creative techniques of the three works,this article tries to dig out Guohui Ye’s creative ideas and technical characteristics,and so on.It is expected to provide reference value for Chinese contemporary music creation with the theme of Peking Opera music elements,provide more basis for theoretical research,and play the role of "throwing a brick and drawing jade".
