| This thesis is a report based on the experience of escort interpretation.It mainly describes the problems and corresponding strategies that the author involved in the process of escort interpretation for the United Nations Choir during the 2018 China International Advertising Festival.The author summed up the problems of the interpretation including translation of musical instrument names and musical terms,the translation of realistic dishes and freehand dishes,the redundancy of the source language and the accent problem.At the same time,the author also gave corresponding solutions to these problems,such us explanation,free translation,and transliteration with the explanation,omission and accent problems.Through the analysis of this experience,the author hopes that this paper can provide some suggestions and references for other escort interpreters and makes a little contribution to the field of escort interpreting. |
