Anton Stepanovich Arensky(Russia,1861-1906)is a world-renowned composer,pianist and conductor.“Four Pieces Op.25” was created by Arensky from 1895 to1896,which consists of Impromptu,Reverie,Etude and Scherzo.This paper takes“Four Pieces Op.25” as the research object,taking performance analysis as an entry point,furthermore,utilizing literature research,actual performance,experience summarization and other methods to analyze the performance of this song from multiple angles so as to understand the author’s emotions more accurately and better interpret this work.The paper is divided into three parts: the first part gives a brief overview of the song and the author.The second part is a simple analysis of the musical form of four piano pieces.The third part is the main content of this article,including the performance analysis of right hand fast running process,octave performance,arpeggio performance,Singing melody and the pedal use.Based on this,combining the author’s own performance experience,strive to have a deeper learning and understanding of Arensky and his piano piece.
