Brahms is not only one of the important composers in the romantic period,but also a pursuer of the spirit of classical creation.In terms of creation,he adheres to the traditional composing techniques and styles of Germany and Austria,tries to be more profound in emotional depiction,and tries to avoid superficial pursuit of formalism.Op.118,six piano sketches,was created in the late period of his career,and his exquisite and meticulous expression techniques are more than his works in this period.In the late creation of piano sketches,interludes account for a large proportion,it is a rigorous,refined three-part structure,sometimes long,sometimes majestic form of expression,this paper briefly introduces Brahms’ life and the creative background of this work,and analyzes how the work reflects Brahms’ mature period of creation.This paper analyzes how Brahms reflected his romantic feelings in the classic,mainly from the aspects of tonality and singing.And then the performance and teaching aspects of detailed research,mainly on the skills and teaching aspects of exploration.Based on the creative characteristics of this work,this paper explores the connotation of the work,analyzes the performance skills,and studies the connotation of the work from the purpose of teaching,so as to provide theoretical support for teaching and performance.
