A Comparative Study Of Chinese And English Apologies For Chinese International Education

In recent years,with the development of economy and culture,the communication between Chinese and western languages and cultures becomes more and more frequent.In the face of more and more communication needs,it is particularly important for international students to learn Chinese apology language,one of the most common polite terms in daily life.Through the collection and arrangement of a large number of corpus,this paper finds that the expressions of Chinese apologies are diverse and the use of them is complex.According to different scenes and different relationships between characters,people will choose different ways of expression,while the expressions and use conditions of English apologies are relatively simple.In apology for two sets of Chinese as a foreign language,spoken language teaching material in Chinese language distribution after investigation and analysis,we have for English-speaking foreign students about Chinese apology language usage survey,found that such students in using Chinese apology language occurs apology language problems such as improper selection and apology language use vacancy and analyses the causes of this kind of problem.Finally,based on the results of previous research,we put forward some Suggestions for textbooks,teachers and native English speakers.Apologies are frequently used in daily life and have outstanding communicative value.We hope that through this study,we can provide reference for the Chinese apology language acquisition of foreign students whose mother tongue is English and for the teaching of language function projects.
