The text of this English-Chinese translation practice is selected from Chapter 2-3 of the book Utilizing Innovative Technologies to Address the Public Health Impact of Climate Change-Emerging Research and Opportunities.Translation of such text has important implications for the future studies of environmental engineering and environmental governance in China.This practice report aims to explore translation difficulties in text through a combination of case analysis,and on the basis of this,the corresponding translation methods are discussed.Firstly,in terms of lexical translation,the author chooses methods of translation with context and words alternative,translation to reality,and translation conversion.Secondly,the author also analyzes English negative and inanimate subject sentences,using methods of literal translation and inversion,conversion and division respectively.Finally,by making a conclusion,the thesis is expected to provide reference for the follow-up translation studies.
